A number of intrepid supporters of S2H took the opportunity to demonstrate their style in May 2009 with a sponsored abseil from the water tower in Harlow to raise funds for Streets2Homes.

 

They choose a nice sunny day to leap off the tower in this (depending on your vertigo tolerance) fun event / scary thing to do even with a rope attached.

 

To shouts of encouragement including
           'stop there',
           'turn round and give us a wave',
           'not a wiggle, a wave',

           'come down one handed'

.... all of which are slightly difficult when you are half way down, dangling on the end of a rope with a not so gentle breeze blowing you from side to side and a lot of very hard concrete below.
